We study the computational foundations of language and cognition. Our research combines theory, machine learning, and behavioral experiments to advance the scientific understanding of cognitive systems — from humans to artificial intelligence.

Feb 2026: Dr. Hu contributed an article on AI Model Evaluation for the Open Encyclopedia of Cognitive Science.
